Preston Plays the Olympia Theater, Paris France
Preston has just finished
a three-night engagement at Paris' famed Olympia Theater as
part of "Autour de la Guitare", a guitar-based variety show
featuring vocal performances by top French pop stars. The
sold-out show was filmed for a DVD release later this
year.
Preston performed one of his solo compositions ("Night
Ride") as well as duets featuring his compositions with
guitarists Jean-Felix Lalanne ("Tractor Pull") and
Jean-Marie Ecay ("Ladies Night").
As a member of the international nine-guitar "band" he
backed up the rap group Zebda, pop singers Lara Fabian,
Nourith, Daniel Levi and others.
The live concert DVD and a studio-recorded cd will be
released this fall on Polydor/Universal Records France.
